What Does Freedom Mean to You?

As we overtake the 300 million mark in population in this great nation it is clear that we are a melting pot from many nations but we all share at least one very important belief, the desire to be free. Oppressed or ostracized, persecuted or punished, the masses came to the land of liberty, America, to make a better life for themselves and their families. In the early days all had to pass before her in New York harbor, the Statue of Liberty, and the words on her base still ring true today:

Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me: I lift my lamp beside the golden door.

Individually, freedom means many things to many people. What does it mean to you? Join us in July 2007 as we redefine these meanings in thought-provoking discussions, seminars and celebration. Let us display as a group the strength of a nation lies in the strength of its people. The CAF is merely providing the platform for people to go beyond putting a magnetic ribbon on their vehicles and to “live their patriotism” in this great rally.

Since the beginnings of democracy in this great country and all over the world there were patriots; those would give all for life, liberty, freedom and the pursuit of happiness. Nothing has changed in over 230 years in America or the world for that matter. People desire to be free! However, freedom is never free; a great price must be paid for it.  This is the theme of this grand endeavor –  that we the people might join together and unite to show the world our resolve in the face of danger and uncertainty. In doing so, we accomplish many feats. We show the world that we are united, that we are not tired and weary, but that we live with certainty that the cause of freedom is always worth fighting for. To gather is a symbol of unity, a gesture showing that we appreciate with undying gratitude the sacrifices made in the name of freedom by those at home and in our armed forces…yesterday and today and tomorrow. Stand with us…and let freedom ring.

If you agree, we urge you to read on and…ultimately help us (The CAF) stage the biggest patriotic rally the world has ever seen in Las Vegas, Nev. July 9-11, 2007, at Caesars.
