Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center – Raising the Roof!

THE ROOF IS ON! Come take a tour through the Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center. The construction is not complete yet, but we couldn't wait to give you a quick tour and update on the CAF's newest hangar and education space at Dallas Executive Airport.

Over the last couple of weeks, significant progress has been made on adding the siding and completing the roofing; putting in window glass for the front of the building, and framing the rooms throughout the facility is underway. As exciting as it is to see the building come into focus, what is even more exciting is the progress in creating the educational programs that will be delivered within the facility. Grand Prairie I.S.D. high school students participating in the J-3 Cub project returned to work on the restoration project last week in the hangar. In the coming months more details about the educational programming offered will be available online.

Campaign update: To date, we have raised $10.1M of the $12.3M project goal. If you would like to support this effort, right now your donation goes twice as far.
