SNJ / AT-6 Texan 80th Birthday Presentation
(Camarillo, CA, September 9, 2023)- Members of the CAF Southern California Wing celebrated the 80th birthday of the SNJ/AT-6 Texan with an excellent “Hangar Talk” presentation.
Known as the pilot maker, the North American SNJ / AT-6 Texan was one of the most successful, well-known, and revered military training aircraft of all time. The predominant advanced trainer of its day, the AT-6 laid the foundation for the massive aerial armadas of World War II and the post-war years leading up to the jet age.
