One of the most iconic bombers of WWII, the B-17G ‘Sentimental Journey’, will be on public exhibition at the Gillespie Field Airport October 1 - 7, 2018. The visiting B-17 'Sentimental Journey' is one of only eight airworthy in the world. The classic warbird was restored to authentic condition by Arizona Commemorative Air Force volunteers as part of its flying museum tour programs.
Tour Hours: Monday, Friday - Sunday: 2 pm - 6 pm and Tuesday - Thursday: 9 am - 6 pm. Standard plane tour fees are $10/person and $20/family of four (in US and Canada) but may vary by tour location.
Rides in the aircraft will be offered Friday - Sunday from 10am - 1pm for $425 USD waist gunner/radio operator seats, $850 USD bombardier/navigator seats in nose.
