CAF Warbird Tube - The Future of the National WASP Museum
July 15, 2026 The National WASP WWII Museum began in 2005 with the vision of two women, WASP Deanie Bishop Parrish and her daughter, Nancy Parrish. They believed the history of the Women Airforce Service Pilots should be showcased at Avenger Field on the grounds where most of the WASP trained during World War II.
Join us on this episode of CAF Warbird Tube as we welcome Dr. Rachael McClain, the new Executive Director of the National WASP WWII Museum. As the Museum begins an exciting new chapter, Dr. McClain shares her vision for preserving the legacy of the Women Airforce Service Pilots and expanding the Museum’s impact for future generations.
We will discuss Dr. McClain’s background in education, community engagement, and women’s leadership, and how her experience will help strengthen the Museum’s educational programs and broaden its national reach.
