CAF Airbase Arizona hosts Family Fun Day Adventures in Flight this Saturday

Mesa, AZ (March 10, 2023) - Several experiential and educational activities for the whole family will be offered Saturday, March 11 at the CAF Airbase Arizona Flying Museum with an admission discount of $5 per person or $10 for a family of four.

  • Electronic flight simulator experiences headline the aviation technology challenge for kids age 6 and over, sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association -- along with display of a sample home-built RV kit-plane to admire nearby.
  • Guided tours of unique exhibits covering 100 years of military aviation and special presentations are offered for no additional charge.

The flightline will also be very active with living history flights available for purchase in two wartime aircraft including the famous B-25 Mitchell bomber and the AT-6 Army Texan/SNJ Navy fighter trainer. Watch them take off and land from our flight ramp or purchase a flight for yourself online at www.azcaf.org.

Airbase Arizona Flying Museum, is a unit of the world-wide Commemorative Air Force, and has operated from Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona for over 45 years.
