Schedule Released for Warbirds in Review during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026
EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — (June 16, 2026) — The twice-daily Warbirds in Review series will take place July 20-24 on the Warbirds in Review aircraft ramp, located within the EAA Warbirds of America area on the AirVenture grounds. Open to all AirVenture attendees, these presentations offer a unique opportunity to experience aviation history firsthand through the stories of the people who flew, maintained, restored, and preserved some of the world's most significant historic aircraft.
More than a series about airplanes, Warbirds in Review explores the history, heritage, and human experiences behind the machines. By bringing together veterans, aircraft owners, restorers, historians, and aviation legends, the program connects audiences with personal stories, technical knowledge, and firsthand insights that cannot be found in books alone. The aircraft themselves become storytellers, helping preserve aviation history for future generations.
“Warbirds in Review brings together veterans, aviation legends, and historic aircraft in a way that simply cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world," said Connie Bowlin, former President of EAA Warbirds of America and organizer of the series. “These presentations go far beyond the airplanes themselves, preserving personal stories, firsthand experiences, and a deeper understanding of the aircraft and the people connected to them. As opportunities to hear these stories firsthand become increasingly rare, Warbirds in Review helps ensure that the history, heritage, and sacrifices of those who came before us are never forgotten."
